Domonkos Németh's clear goal is the top of the podium
The traditions of Hungarian sailing are glorious, and not just talking about the well known Kékszalag, Europe’s Oldest Lake Circumnavigation Competition. We have some excellent competitors who will also have a chance to compete for the Olympic medals in Tokyo as early as this year. Among the ladies Mária Érdi, among men Zsombor Berecz are the ones who have already achieved great results, and this will not be different in the future.
To prove that that there is no problem with the hinterland either, the youth is progressing well, a prime example of this is Domonkos Németh, a young, and talented athlete from The Agent Hungary.
Doma is preparing for the junior world championship of the Finnish Ding class, which will be held in Tihany this year and will show what he can do hopefully in front of a Hungarian audience - there can be no question that he will strive for a gold medal!
The optimism of the 19-year-old sailor can be reinforced by finishing fourth at the U23 Finnding World Championships in Canet-en-Roussillon, France, last year, which was attended by a small but very strong field and int the U19 category he became the best! At the Hungarian Championship of 2020, which was held in Révfülöp, he also finished as first among the juniors, and he also won the bronze medal in team.
A hungarian legend of the sport, world and European champion Zsombor Berecz, also noticed his great abilities and the captain invited Doma to the SSL Team Hungary, in other words to the Hungarian national team, which is of course a great honor for the athlete - he will do his best to prove that he is mature enough to solve even the most difficult tasks, with that of course he will receive every help he needs from our agency.
“I don’t even know what I’m looking for among so many cool people,” he wrote on his Facebook page, but we can be sure that there will be no sign of doubt.
In addition, the four-time world champion Litkey Farkas, who won the Kékszalag 13 times, and Kulcs-Soft, led by CEO Ervin Szabó, found him worthy of the announced youth support, so there is nothing left but to show the world that he has earned all this trust. He will have the opportunity to do this not only in 2021, but for years, as he may have a long and successful career ahead of him.
