Lili Polányi: she is waiting for the new snow season in October with hard preparation

"The season for me ended a little earlier than I planned. At the beginning of April, I suffered a muscle fiber tear in my calf. This resulted in a month of rest, but fortunately, there is usually a one-month break after the season, so my rehabilitation did not hinder my preparation for the next season.

At the beginning of May, I was able to start physical therapy and gradually my training as well. By the beginning of June, I was given the "green light" to do all kinds of training. I gradually integrated back into work. From the beginning of July, events picked up, and we also started dryland training. We worked very hard, the minimum stipend was 2*2 hours a day. My trainer and I are trying to make my training plan as varied as possible.

At the beginning of August, my first snow training camp of the year, lasting 5 days, took place. The conditions were almost perfect. It was an indescribably good feeling to get back on the skis after 4 months, I really enjoyed it, according to myself and my coach, I improved a lot, and I had no problems with my physical condition. Our primary goal during the training camp was to test and explore my injured leg, but fortunately, it can be said that my rehabilitation was perfect, my leg is completely healed. Before the start of the season, expectedly in September, I will return to Austria to continue my preparation there at high altitude.

The snow season starts at the beginning of October and the competitions in December. This year there will be only one major world competition for me, the Alpine Junior World Ski Championship. It will be important to gain experience and to compete according to my knowledge. In addition, I will start in several international competitions, which ones I will participate in, we will decide during the season based on the calendar. The goals of my participation in them are point corrections.

In addition to sports and foundations, Lili's life reached another milestone, as she was admitted to the ELTE Faculty of State and Law during the higher education admission process.

"I decided that I wanted to be a lawyer when I was about 6 years old. At the time, of course, I didn't know exactly what this profession meant, but since my father is also a lawyer, I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Then I got older, I saw its mysteries more and more, and I realized that this is a profession that is really close to me.

I will make the first year of university passive, as I want to focus entirely on sports and skiing, but after that I will start my studies with all my might in addition to sports."
