UEFA presented its special carbon calculator at sustainability conference in London

The event unveiled the carbon footprint calculator specifically designed for football, an innovative online tool that is a key step towards reducing carbon emissions for the football community.

The "CARBON FOOTPRINT CALCULATOR" will be used by football clubs, federations, events and individuals, which will greatly contribute to the long-term sustainability of football. It allows football organisations to comprehensively assess their carbon emissions, especially in football-specific areas such as travel, products and services, and last but not least, the use of facilities.

The joint aim of The Agent and Climate Action is to introduce UEFA's carbon calculator to as many Hungarian sports clubs and clubs as possible and to help them learn it, in order to strengthen the relationship between sport and sustainability in Hungarian sport, thus promoting consistency and comparability in carbon dioxide reporting regarding the football ecosystem.
